The college offers a wide array of prizes, and awards each year a number of prizes to deserving students for achievements in academics and extra-curricular activities. Scholarships and other financial aid are given to deserving students on the basis of need-cum-merit.

  3. Freeship: The primary purpose of freeship is to help Sentinel students who, without such aid, would be unable to attend the college. The tuition fees of one student out of three from a family will be exempted. Tuition fees of needy and handicapped, numbering up to 3%    of the total number of students in each class is exempted.


Sentinel College spares no effort to make available academic advisement and counseling that will aid students, according to their personal needs and motivation, in identifying and achieving their educational goals. Students who wish to discuss personal matters in confidence may do so in the Principal’s Office.



The college provides a modest library-cum-reading room that caters to the scholastic needs of both the students and faculty members of the college. It is well equipped with over a thousand books, magazines, daily newspapers. The library-cum-reading room remains open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on all working Days. Students studying at Sentinel College can make use of IGNOU Library facilities.


A variety of good quality food will be available in the college cafeteria to cater to the needs of the students/members of the college at a reasonable cost.


Supplies of must-have text books, books, Journals, magazines, note books and other stationery items is made available in the college Stationery at reasonable and discounted prices along with print and photocopy facilities.
